To our wonderful only brother our love for you will live with us forever. You were a diamond among us your eight sisters. We will cherish the great times we all had.We will always remember your positive attitude and how valiantly you fought your illness May your soul rest in peace .
An endearing tribute to a lifelong friend who shared his life with my family. He was always there to give support and advice when needed. Through his illness his loving spirit never faded. May his soul rest in peace and light perpetual shine on him. Rest well Byron.
Heartfelt feeling of loss my friend Byron. When I remembered to call you I put the phone to charge then ended up forgetting. Rest in peace, lots of love from the Virtue family!❤️
Byron Baker was my Teacher at Mizpah Primary School in Manchester in 1962 or there about. Everybody was fascinated with his voice and his looks. Later on in life I met a cousin of his who told me more about him. We lost touch with him over the years because he had migrated to U.S.A. Somehow Byron came back into our life again and he would visit Canada where we live.
Our condolences to the Baker family. “Rusty” as he was affectionately called back in the days in Davyton was well known and loved by us all.
Sending our prayers and love to the family, may his soul rest in peace.

Good day everyone, I feel so privilege to of known Mr. Baker, and to participate in his life as one of his caregiver what a gentleman he was, wise, knowledgeable, jovial, and a dignified man. He was always happy to partake in devotion with us he would sing along and even choose his own scripture for us to read for him, he had come to love the Lord, and I know that cause him to be more humble and easier to care for, he was so funny that, although he was unable to do much for himself in the later part of his life, it was a pleasure caring for him. He never forgets to say thank you after each task was done for him. He didn’t let the sickness stop him from keeping our environment, happy and cheerful by making jokes out of most of conversation sometimes I would say to him, Mr. B it’s time to shift your position. Now he would say leave me on my back I would say Mr. B it’s way past two hours since you’re on your back I would like to turn you over you would see ( aright mother Baker) as to refer to is mom, how yuh a bad mi up suh? he was always happy to be on the porch, though, as is neighbors and friends would come visit him constantly, and he would have a amused time, I can’t forget about a month before it is passing one of his neighbor saw him looking out. She came over and started singing for him, Mr. B joined in we didn’t know he knew the song. Danny have a heart to laugh when he when this song was finish they have a good time but as but as his illness progress, he decided he was ready to be with his maker. We will miss his
Many jokes and laughter, but he couldn’t stay one moment more. It’s a long, long day without you, my friend, but I will tell you all about it when I see you again rest in peace, Mr. B.
