Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free.
I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took God’s hand when I heard the call;
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day
To laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that place at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss.
Ah yes, these things, I too, will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I savored much, Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief; don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me – God wanted me now, God set me free.
My memories of Bruce are with Arlene (at a much younger age), at the family reunion and also with Alicia more recently. Cheer up my family! Let’s keep good memories in our hearts. Everything will be alright.
Please know that our hearts are with you to show how much we care.May the God of comfort, strength and peace be with the family during this difficult time.

Bryce was a good and kind man. He loved his family but God called him home. His death was not to our liking, but God knows best. We have learned a lot from his death and we will draw closer to God. May his soul rest in peace.

Dr. Henry was not just a good doctor. He was a good person. I spent many days with him in the ER as a teen. Dr Henry along with his colleague played a big role in helping me choose and applying for college. Thank you, Dr. Henry. You will be missed.

I met Bruce while attending Venture High School briefly in the 70’s. The most impacting memory of him is that of his industriousness and that cherubic and ever present smile on his face. All of us older children at Venture loved him and looked out for him. One of the greatest gift one could ever give in this life is that of service and that he did with dignity and respect for the most vulnerable population — the children. He will be missed
